The Poop Diaries: The saga continues...
So we ended up going to Legoland 2 times. 1st for 3 poops on the potty, then for 5. Now all of a sudden, he's holding it... for DAYS. And NOT pooping in the potty when he poops. Ugh.
However, his spontaneous speech is phenomenal. At bedtime we made up a story together. Using Chicka Chicka Boom Boom as a base. It goes something like this:
I start it: Mommy and Gage went for a walk in the jungle. They were looking for a coconut tree.
The tree where a told b, and b told c, "I'll meet you at the top of the coconut tree"... then I ask, "then what?", and he proceeds to tell most of the rest of the alphabet parts from the book, with a few prompts from me (which may not be NECESSARY prompts, rather, inclusion of me in the storytelling - TURN TAKING!). Then, at the end, Mommy & Gage find the coconut tree, climb it, & there's an alphabet party up there! Then we think of all the food that's at the party, & we recently tried finding food via the alphabet. Another recent addition to the story is Gage adding the end of the party, then a whole bedtime routine. It's very cute.
Yesterday at Coney Island Pizza he decided he didn't like the mushrooms on his pizza, "Mushrooms... gaggers!"
